UFO Tracker EU

Welcome to my blog! Here you will be able to find detailed instructions and all the tools needed to film UFO.

My interest in filming UFOs was inspired by Farsight (more about them below). For a long time, I hesitated to follow their method because it requires a significant upfront investment in equipment: a camera, lens, filters, and tripod could end up costing between 2,500 and 3,000 EUR. Additionally, it would be ideal to modify the camera to capture the full spectrum. Knowing this, I realized I couldn’t justify spending that much money on an experiment without being certain I would capture anything. This led me to think about the most cost-effective way to try it. I eventually decided to buy an InfraRed 680nm filter and a MagSafe filter adapter for my iPhone 15 Pro. The first video I filmed was just one minute long, and it captured a few birds—and one UFO. This changed everything. I started filming more frequently and dedicated a lot of time to improving the video processing techniques. Almost all the videos I’ve filmed since the beginning have shown extremely fast-moving UFOs of different sizes, moving in various trajectories. If you have a newer phone that can film in 4K at at least 60fps, you can start filming UFOs directly above you with a budget of less than 100 EUR.

My goals

  1. Have fun
  2. Show everyone easy, consistent and cheap way of filming UFO
  3. Capture best possible video with as much details as possible

Farsight

I was inspired by Courtney Brown from FarSight. FarSight institute have documented way to consistently film UFO, this documentation also has very precise parameters and equipment needed for it, you can find it all here

This project is fully independent and in no way associated with Farsight.

Lincoln Lounsbury

Linconl Lounsbury discovered this filming method and shared with Farsight. He has experience as an air traffic controller and he is able to calculate approximate speed and size of these moving objects.

Check Lincoln Lounsbury website for tutorials and video analysis.
